Transcript Update
I requested my school to send my transcript with my fall semester grades to lsac- does my file update automatically? Are there some extra steps I need to take? I applied about a week ago.

No, the file automatically updates. I'm assuming that once the updated transcript arrives LSAC distributes it to the various schools. I'm curious though, if it is worthwhile to email informing schools of your updated GPA and soon to arrive updated transcript if you saw an increase in your GPA.
Any thoughts on etiquette in this situation?
I don't want to send an unnecessary email, but I'm worried about decisions being made before LSAC gets around to processing my new transcript.
