aaddenda lenght?
I am going to write an LSAT addenda and a diversity statement. my PS is around 730 words. How long should the addendum be? I assumed 500 words or less.
good guess?

I did a page- double spaced and 11-point font. Worked out fine for me.

Don't write a page long LSAT addendum. JFC. Imagine you're an AdComm. Would you want to read a FULL PAGE of excuses when you have hundreds of other files to read that day? No, because that would be awful.
AdComms want clarity and concision. Write five sentences, tops, not five hundred words.
It's also very likely that you don't even need an LSAT addendum. Why do you think you have to write one?

Huh? You are writing an addendum because you took the test 3 times in a year and they won't give you an exception to take it again?JayJones78 wrote:That's why:North wrote:Don't write a page long LSAT addendum. Absolutely DO NOT write an addendum for that. Unless I missed something I can think of no positive way to spin 3 bad scores without it looking like whining and immaturity.

Don't write an addendum for that. What would it even say?

Agreed.TripTrip wrote:Don't write an addendum for that. What would it even say?
That being said, an addendum should never be more than 1 page, using the same font and spacing as your PS (hint: if you can squeeze in 500 words, you're doing it wrong)

Thanks for the advice. LSAT addenda is trashed. Diversity one remains and will be 500 words or less.
Much appreciated, as always.

Yeah, Diversity Statements are supposed to be a page. Nothing wrong with that.JayJones78 wrote:Thanks for the advice. LSAT addenda is trashed. Diversity one remains and will be 500 words or less.
