Northwestern Interview
I just scheduled an interview at the end of January. I know it's "strongly recommended" but I'm just wondering how necessary it is. I'll be coming from San Francisco so it's not a short trip but Northwestern is one of my top choices. Is it worth it?

Why didn't you do an off campus interview? If its your top choice definitely make the effort

Re: Northwestern Interview
I didn't do an off campus interview because the deadline to sign up was December 1..I didn't realize that until too late because I took the December LSAT so I was a little distracted. But yeah, I figured I needed to

Re: Northwestern Interview
It depends on your numbers. If you're sitting fairly pretty i/r/t Northwestern admission or you have a high likelihood of nabbing another T14 acceptance then I might not bother. However, if your chances of getting another T14 aren't very high and Northwestern is one of your limited shots at snagging a T14 acceptance (e.g. you have sub3.0 GPA), then I would do it. I flew out in the middle of winter to interview because my GPA sucked and I wanted to give myself the best shot at getting into NU because my GPA locked me out of most other T14s.
