Public Relations/Law School ?
After getting a bachelor's degree in either legal studies or communication, I would like to get a graduate degree in Public Relations and a JD degree. After this I want to go into public relations, and eventually open a firm for litigation law and media/public relations. I was just wondering if there are any schools that offer a joint degree program for a JD/Masters in Public Relations. I would also appreciate any advice from anyone who has gone into a similar program and/or career.

Litigation law deals with settling controversies or disputes between and among persons, organizations, and the State.
Media/Public Relations involves working with media for the purpose of keeping up an individual's or organization's image in a positive manner.

So your firm will do both of these? I'm looking forward to seeing how that goes.jchris13 wrote:Lincoln wrote:And what is that exactly?

Actually it will be more of a crisis management firm that deals with managing crises, media/public relations, and litigation support.

Judging by their website, this field seems like it is tough to break in to. Good luck though!jchris13 wrote:Yeah, more like Smith and Company, a real firm that the show is based on.thatdude222 wrote:Like Olivia Pope & Associates from Scandal?
