Law School asking which LS I'm attending.
"Please let me know which law school you will be attending. We would appreciate knowing for our records."
Is there any reason why I shouldn't share this information? ex. If I provide them with the info then they might use it in the future and in conjunction with other information to reject other applicants just for the sake of yield protection?

No good reason not to tell them.

Just provide it....it will help them understand who their peer schools are and where competition is the strongest.

This is pretty much why we ask. Law schools receive aggregate data on how many shared applicants/admits you had with School X and how many chose us, School X, or some other school. But knowing which particular admits decided to go elsewhere is significantly more helpful, especially if we know why.WhiteyCakes wrote:Just provide it....it will help them understand who their peer schools are and where competition is the strongest.
It's none of our business, really, so you don't have to answer, but I know I appreciate it. I just hope with the number of schools sending out full-on web-surveys students don't just start ignoring all of our requests. That's why I keep mine to a quick email with a single question.
