Are you restricted to only certain choices? If so, what are they? If it's a free-form response box, I agree with Noodley's suggestion to just "N/A" it.

"Not a Veteran" is the correct choice for you, then. Anyone who's ever served in the military is going to qualify as a "veteran" by the definition they're likely using. They just may not qualify as a "retiree", though - that requires 20+ years of service, or some kind of early medical retirement (not simply a medical discharge).kattrick wrote:It's a dropdown menu.

I initially thought maybe "Not a Veteran," but after googling it seems that that is probably for former military servicemembers who just don't technically qualify as "Veterans."
