Honestly, I don't think 6 months at an entry-level job is going to stand out regardless of the employer... especially if you had to lie about your future plans to get the job and then burn a bunch of bridges on your way out.
If I was you, I'd look for a document review or a part-time trial-prep gig for whatever money you can get. That way, you can get your feet wet and potentially meet some connections (or at least get some advice from people in the field).
If you're not in a position to save $10,000+ in the next few months I'd worry about enjoying your last few months of freedom and getting some life experience

You have valuable UG degrees. Why can't you do something with those?
