Number of applications for 2012-13 cycle on LSN seems low
Just wondering - do most applicants report their cycles after getting the bulk of their decisions? I'm looking at the 2012-13 applicant lists on LSN for various T14 schools and it seems so low compared to other cycles. For example, right now there are only 3 pages of applicants for Penn this cycle, but there are 8 pages for last cycle. Obviously those reporting to LSN is a small chunk of all applicants but the difference is still pretty shocking.

Probably a combo of lower apps and a seemingly lower trend of LSN usage.

I wouldn't be shocked if them taking so long to allow for the 2012-2013 cycle discouraged many users

A lot of people don't update until after the cycle, or until they start getting responses.

Ahh, didn't think of this.rinkrat19 wrote:A lot of people don't update until after the cycle, or until they start getting responses.
When an account has "Intend to apply", they don't show up on the requisite school applicants list for this cycle until they are "Pending"
