CRS fee waivers

Post by jdpitt » Thu Nov 15, 2012 2:19 pm

I just signed up for the CRS and am applying this cycle. Is it too late to get fee waivers? I have not received any emails since signing up and from what I have read you get a lot of emails.

Thanks

You might not get CRS waivers anytime soon because schools already sent them out in waves after the October LSAT scores were released. Just email the schools you're applying to and request fee waivers.

When asking for a fee waiver, should I ask based only on merit or also on financial need? (I do have legitimate financial need.)

I mass-mailed merit waivers. For schools that rejected me, or did not offer merit based waivers (like Fordham) I filled out their need-based application which was usually attached via email (or they provided a link to it).
