CRS fee waiver

can someone explain these? what are they/how do you get them?

You check the yes box (or whatever the mechanism is to sign up) for CRS when you register for CAS on LSAC.org. You take the LSAT. You get your score back. Schools send you fee waivers, or apply hidden fee waivers to your LSAC account so you see them when you go to pay for an application.

so are you likely to get them if your numbers are above the medians?

It's a bit of a black box, but yeah. Some schools don't send them out, though.
