Where to add future plan information in apps?
So, I graduated in May 2012 and am currently taking a gap year. I'm planning to apply to law schools by the end of this year, then I will be traveling to Country X early 2013 to teach English for about six months. The problem is, I don't think it would be a good idea to put my future plans in my resume. Where else could I let law schools know of my definite future plans?

It works in your resume with dates as "January 2013-May 2013" or whatever. People do it all the time including in law school for future SAs and clerkships and stuff.
If you still aren't happy with that incorporate it into your PS or have a LOR slip it in. Really no other option other than an awkward addendum.
