Including nominations in resume

In the honors and awards section of a resume can you include honors societies you were nominated/ selected for but did not join? I.E. Phi Kappa Phi-nominated, nonmember

Never list an award you do not have, an honors society you did not join, or a credential you have not acquired*

*for certain credentials, "candidate..." may be acceptable, but it would be specific to that credential
