Including nominations in resume
In the honors and awards section of a resume can you include honors societies you were nominated/ selected for but did not join? I.E. Phi Kappa Phi-nominated, nonmember

The Ivey book says no, that just looks like you're grasping for something to put.

*for certain credentials, "candidate..." may be acceptable, but it would be specific to that credential
