LSAC Changes My Personal Statement Length
Hi guys,
I'm running into an odd problem, and was wondering if any of you have experienced it and can help me out. When I upload my personal statement to LSAC, the length slightly increases. The statement has one-inch margins and fits onto two pages when I look at it on my computer, but when I upload it, one lined gets pushed to the third page. I wrote the statement on Apple Pages and exported it to a Word doc, but both as a .pages and .doc file, the statement is two pages before upload.
Does anyone know how to deal with this?

PDFs are not allowed anymore. I am sad about this!
My friend was having issues with formatting, and she fixed it by switching to Times New Roman font. So maybe if you're using a different font, try that?

Yeah I'm definitely using times new roman. Double spaced. Not sure what's going on here.
And I wish I could PDF! That is so much more professional and such a better format for transmitting docs. Unfortunately, LSAC does not allow you to upload PDFs.

Switch to Garamond. It's smaller than Times and still pretty and professional.

+1 to Garamond. I'm using it for all of my app materials.LoveLife89 wrote:Switch to Garamond. It's smaller than Times and still pretty and professional.
