Probably over analyzing this, but I'm having trouble deciding how to fill out employment history on applications. I worked for the same company for 8 eight years, but at three different locations and at different positions. During the first three years I was at various times part-time, full-time, and seasonal, but during the last five I was full time. On my resume, I just refer to my full-time position and the location I was at when I quit, but not sure whether that is sufficient here. I don't want to be misleading, but I'm also not sure how to explain it all given the restrictions of the online app.
I'm wondering whether anyone has any advice on this?

Re: Employment History?
I *think* it is acceptable to state the highest position you achieved, and if you were full time for the last five years, to just describe it as full time work. If you are uncertain and feel that describing it as full time misrepresents the overall work experience, it is probably best to contact admissions to ask them if it matters, or to add an addendum to your app.

It is likely in your best interest to show that you started lower and advanced over your 8 years, than leave it as appearing you had the same (albeit more senior) position for 8 years.

That's what I thought. I'm just struggling with how best to express it given the restrictions on lsac. There's no spot for these sort of explanations. I'm running into similar trouble with "Undergraduate Employment" there's just not enough space to indicate appropriately.mrizza wrote:It is likely in your best interest to show that you started lower and advanced over your 8 years, than leave it as appearing you had the same (albeit more senior) position for 8 years.
