Not disclosing race? Forum

In what I'm sure will be the first of many questions that I will have, I'm working on various application forms and I wonder what are the ramifications if I choose to not disclose my race? I remember hearing something about it somewhere, but I'm not about to dig through my memories to try and figure out exactly what was said. Input?

None. Unless you're a URM and you don't disclose it. Then you'll lose out on a bump. But other than that, no one cares

I would guess that when a law school sees "not disclose race" they just mark it off as white and move on.

Hm. Muchas gracias mis new amigos. Consider my race reported. Although I'm still pissed that it even matters. But that's a discussion for a later date, no?
