Re-using Personal Statement from previous cycle

Post by boredtodeath » Mon Oct 15, 2012 4:48 pm

What's the TLS wisdom on re-using a PS from a previous cycle? Do schools that you applied to in the past expect you to write a new PS, or do they not care?

Depends upon the PS & what you did during your gap year.

I'm most likely going to be working in a field unrelated to what I want to do with my future. My PS is pretty much about life experiences that have helped to shape my worldview and push me towards a career in law. Nothing really specific that has changed in the year since I wrote it.
