Include Resume in Law Fair Follow-up email? Yes or no?

Post by Mr. Frodo » Thu Oct 11, 2012 6:13 pm

So I attended a law school fair yesterday and met with the Dean or Associate Deans or pretty high ranking admissions people from a good portion of the T14. Some of them took my resume, but most took my name at least. Should I include my resume in my emails following up with these people or is that not appropriate? I know it will be included in my CAS report when I apply, but perhaps it will help them remember our talk or who I am?

Looking for a quick response as I have the emails drafted and wanted to send them off today.

Thanks guys.

Can someone offer some advice on this or does it really not matter?

I wouldn't attach the resume. It'll be submitted with your application. And if you send it, they'll have to open/print it out, which might make you memorable in a bad way (believe me, they're busy enough right now).

Thanks. I ended up not sending any resumes and got nice messages back from each person.
