Easier for borderline students to apply part time or ED?

Post by wpeiffer11 » Fri Sep 28, 2012 12:46 am

I take the LSAT in a few days and I anticipate being a less then ideal candidate to be accepted at Loyola Law in Los Angeles. My question is will I have a better shot at getting in if I apply as an Early Decision or a part time student? Loyola is my top choice so the binding aspect of ED is not an issue. Any incite will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have a reason to apply part time? If you're not employed or a non-traditional student, the ad comm will probably see right through it.

I would apply ED.
