LOR Work-related Professor?

Post by CyanIdes Of March » Thu Sep 27, 2012 4:52 pm

I have an LOR from a professor at a T20 law school. Since I'm applying to law school in the future, she's clearly not a professor I've ever had, but I worked closely with her on a research project because I worked at this law school in one of their clinics. Does the fact that she is a professor count as an academic LOR, should I still try to get 2 bland academic professors from people who don't really know me that well (that's the best I'm going to be able to do besides this particular one) or will adcomms see this and consider it equivical?

Also, just an afterthought, would working at a law school be considered a soft at all? I was thinking 'maybe' it would at this particular school because I know people who know the adcomms, but probably not outside of it, right?

Thanks!

EDIT: I do very little of anything important at the school, just basic assistant stuff. Occassionally I am given an interesting project but other than that I do the grunt work, just incase anyone was wondering for the purpose of this thread.
