My numbers are GPA 3.55, LSAT 169. I took a lot of summer courses (and regular courses) because I changed my major towards the end of my college years. Should I write an addendum explaining my heavy load of courses?

Tons of other applicants will have had heavy course loads. Not that good of a reason.

ETA: You've got solid numbers. An addendum for that reason isn't going to help your app much.

You got a 3.55 because you were incapable of carrying an A- minus average at the colleges you attended. Do not write an addendum for this, there were no excuses, you simply were incapable.
