Professional vs Academic Letters of Rec

Post by afitouri » Thu Sep 20, 2012 1:08 pm

I find myself in a situation where I transferred schools, and so I didn't have a strong opportunity for professors to get to know me. I can get two letters of rec, but I'm not sure how strong they will be given these circumstances. I can get VERY strong professional recommendations though. How should I balance this?

Short Answer:
Many schools allow you to submit more than two letters of rec. Some schools allow you to submit as many as four.
