Re: Fee Waiver
For your LSAC profile, does it have 2012 listed as the year you wish to attend law school? I took the LSAT in 2010 and forgot to update my enrollment year as 2013 after having taken the LSAT again this summer. I've gotten fee waivers from most places, but I haven't gotten one from Chicago or Columbia. It could be for this reason.SYoshi11 wrote:Hi everyone,
I took the LSAT last year and was lucky enough to get a 179.
However, I haven't received an email for a fee waiver at: Chicago, Columbia, or Penn.
Any ideas why this may be happening?
Thanks!
NOTE: I did get one from Penn, however.

Found it tucked away in the CRS section. Let's see what happens!

Re: Fee Waiver
For some schools but not for Columbia and Chicago. At this point, it appears you just wait for a few more weeks to see if any more are sent out OR go ahead and send away and pay up.SYoshi11 wrote:I've read a bit of that thread - and there are some suggestions that you email a given school.
Is this the credited path?
You could wait until after the October LSAT to see if you get bunched in there for fee waivers; this would not put you at a disadvantage for either school. Still, there is no guarantee that you will get one then even if you qualify.
I feel your pain - it sucks. $85 may be minuscule when compared to tuition, but it's still something. I've been trying to figure out why I didn't get one from either school when other people with both higher and lower numbers have, and the above mentioned theory is the only one I could come up with.
Let me know if you find out about any other possible reasons!

Lol haha I'm retarded. I have no idea why I forgot that I was part of class of 2013.SYoshi11 wrote:Because people who graduate in May of 2013 enter law school in August/September of 2013 and because people who enter law school in August/September of 2013 apply now.
My LSAC GPA is: 3.95
