diversity statement

Post by Woods » Thu Sep 13, 2012 9:05 pm

Is " I am confident that this will increase..." too strong? Is "My experience in...might be of interest to..." too weak?
Should I just go with "I hope that this will increase..."?
Thanks!

Assuming "this" refers to diversity, I wouldn't say any of those. If you're writing a diversity statement, the adcomm will already know you think whatever you're discussing will increase their diversity...

What if the school asks how can you contribute to their environment?

Don't answer so explicitly imo. Show it, don't say it.
