Hi,
I'm scheduled to take the Oct 6 LSAT and want to send in my apps ASAP. I know that LSDAS doesn't compile/prepare the report until your LSAT score is in, but
I don't know how the compilation works and how long it takes.
Does anyone know how long it takes the LSDAS to finish preparing the report? How soon after the actual score release date can I expect to have the whole report including transcripts/LSAT score/LORs ready (assuming they'll have received and processed these)?
I want to finish all the materials and send in my apps as soon as my score comes out by end of Oct. I understand then LS's will request the report from LSDAS. Would it be possible that by then, even with all my docs sent in and processed, they still haven't finished compiling my report? And if that happens and things drag over and my apps are not complete until after Thxgiving, would it hurt my chances?
Thanks so much!

If your LORs and transcript are in, your app will be complete almost instantaneously when you submit after your LSAT comes in (barring any school specific forms you may need to send in).

Thanks! It's assuring to know that it's almost instantaneous and won't take another 1-2 weeks. But I thought it would take them a few days to generate the complicated report for grades (from year-to-year analysis to undergrad institution stats, that's a lot of info)... do you know? or anyone else?

Nope, once you have your transcripts in, all that is sent is a copy of each transcript, the academic summary report, your LORs and your LSAT score. The schools will mark your file as complete as soon as it has all that. How long it takes them to INTERPRET that info is another matter.

Well indeed I was asking about how long it would take the LSDAS to generate the academic summary report once they receive my transcript, and how long it would take them to generate the entire report once my all my stuff is in (LSAT+transcipts+LORs)...
The academic summary report is a rather complicated one including all the stats/data, and in my humble opinion intuitively I wouldn't think its compilation is almost instantaneous... do you know? Thanks again!

They likely enter all of your grades from your transcripts as they receive them, and only hold off on publishing the report until they have everything. Once the grades are in its a simple algorithm so I don't think it takes any significant amount of time.

I can't speak of the law school report since my LORs aren't in as yet, but my academic summary report was completed on the same day they received my transcripts (2). I would guess that the law school report will be completed on the same day they receive my second LOR, or at the maximum, within a day or two.
