Questioning Political Experiences for an Application

Post by magezzz » Tue Sep 04, 2012 9:04 pm

Hello,
I'd like to know your opinions on the inclusion of political experiences into an application.

1) Political party work (not for the Democrats or Republicans though, for a smaller party) in a mid/senior role a good idea to mention? Negative potential for a biased reviewer?

2) Is a senior role for a student union/government considered a strong/good soft?

Thanks for the opinions!

As long as you're not proposing ridiculous policies through that party, you're good to go.

Depends on the position and school, but for the most part they're decent-but-not-game-changing softs.
