looking over at LSN and users with their acceptances with $$$ info,. I have a question, how does scholarship really work? some have 40K$ some have 10k and some have 120K..
so is the 10K given for the entire three years of law school? or every semester you can use that 10k towards your tuition?

Re: scholarship question
People are supposed to enter the amount as a total (so a $45k scholly would be $15k each year for three years), but some people screw it up. If the amount is $120k, that's definitely $40k x 3yrs. Obviously, no school gives out $120k per year.
Sometimes you can tell what the person meant by looking at their GPA and LSAT and comparing them to other similar applicants. So if other 3.5/170s are getting $120k or $90k at School X, then the 3.5/170 who entered $30k may have meant $30k per year for a $90k total.
If I saw a $10k award, I'd assume that was a per year award, $30k total, just because a $10k total is kind of pointless and I don't think I've seen anything that small.
