Merit-based fee waivers
I have registered for the crs, set the year of admission as 2013, took the lsat this year and have a completed LSAC report. What do I need to do with my LSAC file to receive unsolicited fee waivers?
Thanks!

Re: Merit-based fee waivers
I think now you mostly just sit and wait. If you check the Fee Waivers thread in this subforum, you'll see there's a very helpful chart which shows which schools have sent out fee waivers, which only use "hidden" waivers, and which schools are open to being solicited for waivers.
I haven't had much luck receiving the unsolicited waivers that others have, but I've successfully solicited waivers from UVA and Georgetown by just emailing and asking.

Are you really asking what you need to do to receive unsolicited fee waivers?

Because some schools I asked said that they have already done searches un the candidate pool.mr.hands wrote:Are you really asking what you need to do to receive unsolicited fee waivers?
I took the lsat last year as well, didn't get any except umn either. But some people with my score did.

Re: Merit-based fee waivers
Just email, I solicited fee waivers from:
3.62/171
*Michigan
*Cornell
*UCLA
*Georgetown
1 day turnaround on my emails. Cornell/Michigan actually sent me fee waivers in the mail (which arrived 3 days after my email) but they also gave me a code in the email that was separate from the original mailer offers.

Who specifically at each law school do you email for waivers? How do you find their email addresses, just on each school's website?
