Re: Work experience/history on apps?
Most apps do have a section for work history. But honestly I wouldnt expect it to matter too much.AllDangle wrote:I began filling out one of the applications which opened up and saw there is no place to list work history (besides the resume upload). Is this normal? I ask because I worked through all my UG years but omitted some jobs, restaurants etc, from my resume so I could keep it as concise as possible. However, I think it would be good to show I worked all four years while going to school.

If you really think they are important enough that they must be seen, make a 2 page version of your resume for those schools without a place to list them.
However, you are probably mistaken thinking that they need to be seen.

Why would you need to show it? In the case of an addendum for bad semester? Just use the space that you need and make sure it falls in line with the specific school's requirements. I doubt the length (if it's within the parameters) will make a huge difference, unless it's a ton of extra fluff. For me I stuck with one page because it looked neater. That was just my preference, though.

Re: Work experience/history on apps?
I put down all of my jobs, but I worked consistently at the same 2 places throughout college. I think it helped to show that I could balance work at school. It showed I was well-rounded, professional, responsible, and good a time management. I can't know exactly how much it could help you, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt you. Not everyone can have well-paid internships, so as long as you weren't a stripper, I think it couldn't hurt.sprocket wrote:AllDangle wrote:I began filling out one of the applications which opened up and saw there is no place to list work history (besides the resume upload).
