Cumulative GPA

Post by alpha kenny body » Thu Jul 12, 2012 2:34 pm

I am currently a double major in UG and I am in the process of raising my cumulative GPA as high as possible. Here's my question, if I have 2 majors and one of which has a low Major GPA, would it raise my cumulative GPA if I were to drop that major? Basically, going back to only one major that is a higher.

I'm not sure you understand how cumulative GPA works. They take all the classes you've completed, and use those grades to compute your GPA. Changing majors does not have any impact on what classes you have taken and the grades you made in those classes.
