No problem. If a school is listed under the "Solicited Merit-based Fee Waivers (Email)" category, that means someone has successfully solicited a waiver from that school (the date shown next to it). For the "Offer Merit-Based Fee Waivers, CRS Waivers Have Not Been Sent Out Yet" category, schools either (1) only do unsolicited and haven't sent them out yet, or (2) do both unsolicited and solicited, have not sent out the unsolicited and are not accepting solicited waivers until the time specified.02889 wrote:This chart is fantastic! Thanks a ton for creating it and keeping it updated. Can you clarify for me the difference between a school in the "Solicited Merit-based Fee Waivers (Email)" category and a school in the "Offer Merit-Based Fee Waivers..." category that says "(solicited)" next to it? Is there a different process for getting waivers from the latter category? Thanks.

Duke waiver and priority track.
Interesting because my GPA is well below their traditional floor and the last two years I didn't get a single email from them.

Updated, though I didn't get it yet Here's to hoping my LSAT is enough to warrant the fee waiver priority track email!2014 wrote:Duke waiver and priority track.

So my LSAT is between yours and 2014's...hopefully I'll get it and they're just doing it alphabetically or something! My GPA is a wee bit lower than 2014'styler.durden wrote:+1LSP12 wrote:Duke priority track email received!

I'm down in the T's. My GPA might be too low though at 3.15. In any case, I don't know if I would actually do the priority track part (since its binding), but that fee waiver would be wonderful.tyler.durden wrote:Hope so! From the website "This is a non-binding program; if you are admitted to Duke, you may freely consider offers of admission from other law schools."shadowofjazz wrote:I'm down in the T's. Not binding, so if you get it, no harm in applying.

Ah, I was reading somewhere that it was. My bad...and in that case, the PT would be awesome too. Though I'm still EDing UVA and waiting on all other apps.2014 wrote:PT isn't binding, just guarantees 10 day turnaround

I got the Duke PT and waiver a couple hours ago.
Any drawbacks to doing it? Duke isn't my target, but was going to apply anyways.

No drawbacks, as far as I know, but awesome upside (10 day decision). I am psyched. I've been waiting for this.helix23 wrote:I got the Duke PT and waiver a couple hours ago.

Re: Law School AppReqs & Fee Waiver Tracker 2012-2013
Never heard of a successful solicitation after the e-mails already went out. On page 5 of the 2015 applicants thread, Tiago Splitter claimed the Dean granted him a PT invite after asking him what his reasons for applying were, but later confirmed on page 14 that his app was treated as RD, so it looks like they just trolled him or something. You can always try, and if your numbers are good enough, they'll at least give you a fee waiver.RSterling wrote:Re: Priority track, nothing here Is it possible to solicit one?
ETA: pacifica in the Duke Priority Track thread sort of solicited one, but it was by asking to be included in the upcoming batch, not afterward.

From another thread, confirming that most Michigan merit-based waivers are hidden and unsolicited this cycle:
02889 wrote:I got this email yesterday re: fee waivers:
Dear 02889,
Thank you for your interest in Michigan Law. We offer merit-based fee waivers through LSAC's Candidate Referral Service. If you are registered for that service and qualify for a waiver, it will appear automatically in your LSAC account after our application goes live on September 1
[Blah, blah, blah.]

Joe
