Is there time in between when the law school applications come out to when you can actually start submitting? I remember for undergrad they came out early so you could do them, but you can't submit it until later. Is this not the case with law school? It appears most apps come about in sept. some time, which is the same as when you submit them

I believe you can submit the apps as soon as they come out (usually between Sept 1 and Oct 1). I don't remember any cases where you could see the app long before you could actually submit them. However, if you are eager to see the apps, some schools have a PDF of last year's app on their admissions website.

The PS is usually pretty generic (meaning that there is a generic prompt). Some schools have optional essays (diversity, Why-X, etc.), but typically you can structure one PS for all the schools and just write a school specific essay to a couple of schools (usually your top choices).

your app you will also have to list all of the schools you've ever attended for college including the schools you transferred from.

I'm pretty sure you can submit them on the day they come out. I would recommend taking your time on them and submitting them later though. They are pretty much the same except for changes in essays. Sometimes your PS will have to be shorter and/or you will have the option to write additional essays. The good thing is that the common information (demographics, school info, resume, etc) are saved to your file and you don't have to re-enter them for each application
