"Why X" statement question

In your "Why X" for the school that you're ED'ing to, is it worth mentioning that your brother attends UG there? I figure it couldn't hurt and I've heard that (all other things being equal) universities like to have families attend if they can. Thanks!!!

No. The statement is about you, not your brother.

There might be a section on the application about your family's affiliation with the school
