What LSAT for Georgetown?

Post by rglifberg » Sun May 13, 2012 1:24 am

So, fortunately, I listened to the classic TLS re-take advice and am re-taking in June. My score has gotten up to 165 on PT's (from low 150's). Unfortunately, my gpa sucks. 2.5 cumulative gpa. (3.5 major gpa)..... What LSAT (if any) would give me a shot at Georgetown?

Generally, if you're below a school's GPA median, you need to meet (and, realistically, beat) the LSAT median (170 for GULC) to have a chance.

With a 2.5, your chances aren't great regardless. Non-existent with a 169 or below.

I would think 173+ in order to have an outside shot. But I think the conventional advice to people who have sub-2.9 GPAs that are aiming for T14 is to get some work experience, score 170+ and apply to Northwestern.
