C&F - Dismissed Minor Charge/Expungement

Post by 727813 » Tue May 08, 2012 1:52 pm

Quick question: I missed a court date (legitmately) for a mando traffic violation. I had to turn myself in (fingerprinted, photo's, released). Because I had a legit excuse, the court dismissed the charges related to the bench warrant for Failure to Appear. The judge also dismissed the original traffic violation. Also, the charges are in the process of being expunged. So......with all charges dismissed, do I still have to report this for C&F purposes (even if it gets expunged prior to my turning in applications)? I assume YES. Should I provide copies of paperwork, or merely explain the situation with details? My apologies if someone already asked a similar question.

Yea, definitely disclose. This won't matter at all to law schools unless you don't disclose.
