I'm currently looking to apply to Alabama and a few other southern schools this upcoming cycle (from Alabama), and was curious as to whether Alabama or any other schools give a slight boost to Asian candidates. I know that generally, Asians are not considered to be URM, but there are a handful of law schools with a low number in their classes. ( < 2% )
Can anyone with any experience in the application process to Alabama or any other schools with low Asian populations shed any light on this?

Doubtful, but only Alabama admissions knows their practice. Best to ask Alabama admissions. Don't get your hopes up.
