I submitted some applications in early January. They've been received and completed. I can see on LSN that many people who applied around the same time with similar numbers (some with similar w/e) have already received decisions. Off the numbers, I'd expect to be on the waitlist. My work experience and essays could get me in, but I know not to count on that.
Should I send a LOCI? Could it be that I'm on a sort of default waitlist (school doesn't want to reject me in case other admits don't matriculate)? There hasn't been any activity since the middle of February. Could it be that they've forgotten about me?
Advice would be appreciated.

I think that more than a few schools do this as kind of a "maybe" pile. Not a straight reject or admit but a let me think about it kind of thing. (Which sounds like a waitlist but an unannounced waitlist of sorts.)3v3ryth1ng wrote:Bump.

I have NO data to back this up but have seen it happening at a number of schools where I applied and that explanation makes sense.........
