WL Then Accepted Getting More $$$?

Post by UNCPS2011 » Thu Apr 26, 2012 7:50 pm

It looks like several (i've seen at least two but I am sure there are more) schools this year are giving bigger scholarships to students accepted from the wait list compared to students with the same or better stats. Is this a common thing? If you were a deposited student and you saw a good number of students with worse stats admitted off the WL getting significantly more than you how would you approach it?

Hmm this is interesting. What school in particular is doing this? And we're the wait list applicants URMs?

Some schools take financial need into consideration when making scholarship awards.

OP: Which two law schools ?

I noticed this too, at a school that doesn't give need-based aid. Kind of annoying.
