BC vs GW
I am trying to decide between the two schools. No serious money at either (I had low cumulative GPA).
I am leaning towards BC for the following reasons:
(1) such a large incoming class at GW
(2) environment at BC
(3) my wife wants to move to boston over dc
However GW is ranked higher, I love foggy bottom, and I have a technical background in science / technology and have a strong interest in IP.
If I have to piss off my wife by insisting that we move to DC, I better have a good reason (joking, she would be happy either way but really likes Boston).
Thoughts? Thanks.

Re: BC vs GW
GW ranks higher but places lower. If you plan on staying in Boston after law school def. go to BC. I can't think of any good reason for going to GW.

Talk to some students at both schools. My experience talking with GW students is that they are unhappy. Very much so. Your mileage may differ.

I go to GW and I haven't had the experience that people are "unhappy." If you are interested in IP then I think GW is clearly the better choice. If not, then its really a matter of geographic preference.

If you prefer Boston over DC, then its slam-dunk BC. You will likely have a really rough time getting to Boston from GW (I've only encountered 1 GW grad working here and she started her career in DC).

Re: BC vs GW
I lived on BC's law campus my freshman year and most of the students seemed pretty happy. There's also a solid (if small) IP market in Boston. I'd definitely go there over GW.
