I'm finishing up a LOCI that I'll be dropping off at Brooklyn Law School tomorrow. I was just curious if you guys thought it would be relevant to include that I'm from, and have lived in Brooklyn my whole life. Is there some way I can use this info to help my letter and sell something about myself, or does this it just sound like a desperate attempt to scramble for something to add in?
I'm not sure if this would help/hurt based on schools attitudes towards in state vs out of state.
I'd appreciate any feedback you guys have on this area. Thanks.

Re: Include in my LOCI?
I wouldn't focus a large amount of space on it, but it's fine to put something in there about being born-and-bred in Brooklyn. A sentence (maybe two if you've contributed to the community in some tangible way) should be enough.
