So, I know that they stay on file for five years, but if I want to apply for the 2013-2014 cycle does that mean that it is acceptable to just get my LOR's lined up now?
I'm currently a senior in college so I would like to get them from my professors while I'm still fresh in their mind.

Re: Quick LOR question
I don't see any downside in asking now and just keeping them on file. You'll dodge the "waiting for recs so I can apply to school" panic. I asked professors for recs in April and they did not go LSAC complete until the middle of October. Would have been nice to have it all just sitting in my LSAC account.rcthebigred1 wrote:So, I know that they stay on file for five years, but if I want to apply for the 2013-2014 cycle does that mean that it is acceptable to just get my LOR's lined up now?

Yeah. That's kind of what I was thinking. There doesn't really seem to be a disadvantage to doing it.
