hey everyone,
what do you all know about brooklyn law? it's the highest ranked school i got into because i was sick on the day of the LSAT and now i'm thinking i'll go there for a year and then transfer. what do y'all know about transferring from BLS?
also, unrelated, but what is BLS like as a school? are they well connected to law firms and jobs etc? are the people chill?
thanks!

DO NOT GO TO LAW SCHOOL PLANNING TO TRANSFER. (your odds at being able to do so successfully are slim). Do not go unless you would be happy graduating from there. What is your total cost of attendance to attend Brooklyn?
Also, if you think you under-performed on the LSAT, you should probably retake it.

Re: Brooklyn Law
In order to transfer to any school worth transferring to, you will need to at least be in the top 10% of your class. (you have a 90% chance of not being in the top 10% of your class)aa220 wrote:why is transferring so hard?
Also, transfer students rarely get any kind of scholarship money.

This. 1000x this. OP, go poke around the transfers forum and see what kind of stats it takes to transfer from a T2 to T14 (usually the lowest transfer that is worth it). You're looking at being at least top 10% probably closer to top 5%. It's fine to have aspirations of transferring butbdole2 wrote:DO NOT GO TO LAW SCHOOL PLANNING TO TRANSFER.

I just figured out that people on this forum have no idea how to tell when someone is trolling.
