I know you don't want to hear it, but unless you have family or something that will guarantee hire you after law school, FIU will make it very hard to
Find a job, and almost importable to find a job outside of Florida.

Even with your GPA and LSAT, you can do better than FIU. Please don't go to FIU.

Look, retake in June or October, and apply early to Florida State, UF, Stetson, Miami. You get a 160 or better and you'll be OK. It is only a year of your life, but going to one of these instead of FIU will effect the rest of your life for the better.jjc10d wrote:Damn I havent heard one good thing from anyone about the school..but thanks for the replies

Re: Waiting on fiu
Sorry to disappoint, but there are good reasons for that. Do a little research on the state of the legal job market and the average job prospects for graduates of low-ranked schools. People from top 40 schools are having trouble finding adequate work, much less folks from schools like FIU. A law degree is not a sure ticket to the good life. Far from it. From a school like FIU, it's a much surer ticket to crushing debt and financial ruin.jjc10d wrote:Damn I havent heard one good thing from anyone about the school..but thanks for the replies
