Georgetown sent my recommendator a thank you email?
Georgetown sent one of my recommendators an email thanking her for the LOR.
Is this the case for everyone that applies to Georgetown?

Nope. There are some similar posts here going back to 2010, but none of the really answer if this is he case for everyone that applies to GU. The email's quite generic, she forwarded it to me:
Dear Ms.X,
Thank you for submitting a recommendation to Georgetown Law on behalf
of X Applicant. We truly appreciate your taking the time to
share your thoughts on X applicant with our Admissions Committee.
Each admissions cycle, Georgetown Law typically receives more
applications than any other law school in the country. Our Committee
depends upon recommendations to help us get to know who each unique
applicant is behind the application. Consequently, your first-hand
input is critical in helping our Committee make the difficult
decisions we face as we try to assemble our class. Thank you again
for your insight and for participating in our admissions process.
With gratitude and best regards,
Andrew Cornblatt
Dean of Admissions
Associate Vice President for Graduate Admissions and Enrollment

Any correlation with this letter and who is admitted/waitlisted/rejected?

It's actually fairly typical of GULC to send thank you emails to recommenders. A very nice gesture imo.

Why would spellcheck change it to recommendator?BlondieNYC wrote:

I heard in previous years, GULC would email admitted students' recommenders and let them know their recommendees were accepted. Kind of awkward if you're an applicant who was hoping to hear back from other schools before letting your recommenders know how your cycle went. I hope they're not doing that anymore.
