Applied to a school in January and have been complete with no movement since 1/9. When is good to follow up?

If they don't get back to you by the time they promised they would. Most schools have an admissions timeline that say they'll get back to you by late April or something. But if you're still complete that means they'll get to you.

There are only a few reasons to contact them:
1) Because they haven't met a deadline and haven't explained themselves.
2) You have some kind of new information relevant to you getting into that school (substantial changes in GPA, LSAT score, new job, etc.)
3) Because you're withdrawing your application.

But if nothing has changed on your end, don't stress because they will get to you. Just remember you're in a stack of thousands and your app went in "late" if it came in during January as the majority of people apply by December, so you're behind all of them. That's just how it works. Relax and hope for the best, I sent my apps in November and I'm just hearing back now, so you've got some time.
