US NEWS
Quick question for someone with a good spreadsheet of the complete USNEWS data.
What would the most recent rankings be, if one removed LSAT and GPA as factors?

Hmm I believe this would be interesting to see, but I'm not sure if anyone has access to enough data to do this (unless they work for USnews).admisionquestion wrote:Quick question for someone with a good spreadsheet of the complete USNEWS data.

40% of the ranking is due to reputation. The usual suspects would be at the top even if you took out the lsat and gpa as components of the ranking.
Let me ask you one question in return: why is this even important?

absolutely not important.
Are you sure it would be the same order though... Obviously t14 will stay elite but the order might bounce a bit...

Still a pretty interesting question though. I'd be decently interested as well.admisionquestion wrote:absolutely not important.

Re: US NEWS
I would interested in this as well. The differences between variables other than the entering class's statistics tends be marginal. That is why 90% of the overall differences in rankings can be explained by the median LSAT score of the entering class.
