WUSTL Fee waiver
Just received a fee waiver from WUSTL even though my LSAT is only at median and GPA is below median. Any ideas on why they would send me a waiver and why they would do so so late in the cycle? Is it worth applying? Currently sitting with half tuition at Wake and OSU so at full cost im not sure WUSTL would be worth it

They're worried about their exclusivity rating, so they're trying to get a bunch more people to apply so they can reject them. Sorry.

I got one too and TITCR. This late in the cycle there's no other good explanation. If you have a 168 or better, though, it appears you're in (again).rinkrat19 wrote:They're worried about their exclusivity rating, so they're trying to get a bunch more people to apply so they can reject them. Sorry.

Yea i got the same thing today as well. Im below on both the LSAT and GPA, but probably going to send it in anyways. I know I more than likely will not get accepted so its not a big deal to me. But stranger things have happened. Maybe they will let me slip thru the cracks haha.milljp02 wrote:I got one too and TITCR. This late in the cycle there's no other good explanation. Unless they love my softs, there's no way I'm getting in with a 160. But hey I've squandered $16 in worse ways, right??

Re: WUSTL Fee waiver
I say if WUSTL is a better school than you have got into at this point by 10 or more spots in the rankings you should apply. Every cycle there are those apps that for some reason or another get in, and it has little to do with numbers. It is your career at stake here, you won't care about fudging the numbers if you hit the jackpot and get in.
If I were in at WUSTL and Cornell came knocking at this moment, I would apply.
If I were in at Cornell and NYU came knocking at this moment, I would apply.
If I were in at NYU and HYS came knocking at this moment, I would apply.
If Cooley comes knocking please don't apply! LOL!
