What to do if status checker seems to be broken?

Post by sgt101st » Tue Jan 31, 2012 3:08 pm

Greetings all,

Each time I try to login to a status checker, I get told I am entering an invalid user ID and/or password, even if it's the one law schools sent me. It is this way for every school. Any suggestions?

Strongly doubt all your SC are broken. Here are my suggestions:

1. Try a different browser
2. Firefox will mess up copy/paste, so manually type in the password.
3. Have you logged in before? If so, it forces you to change the PW -- so you are forgetting your own password.

I tried a different browser (Firefox/Chrome) and will try a different computer shortly.

I tried both at law schools were I have checked my status before (and changed the password) and ones that I had not. None worked, regardless of using the original password supplied or the one I use for all the schools I had changed my status checker password for.

Hm, according to the LSAC help line, their services do not like Chrome. Status checker works fine on another computer, so problem at least isolated.

Go outside. Call up your friends. Do something fun.
