I was just accepted to Duke Law, specifically one of their dual degree programs. I am sure I want to enroll in their JD program, but I am having second thoughts about enrolling in the dual degree program. Now that I have been accepted to the dual degree program, is my enrolling in Duke's JD program contingent upon my enrolling in the dual degree program? Or can I just enroll in the JD program without enrolling in the dual degree program?

Why not ask Duke?

The only reason I can think of not to ask Duke directly is a slight unreasonable fear that they would say, "What?! You just applied to the dual degree program and now you don't want to do it? Your acceptance is now withdrawn because of your unpredictable character!" etc.

I really don't think this will happen, but I thought it would be a good idea to test the waters on TLS first.
