I'm curious to know if it's okay to skip application questions, specifically those that require an essay styled answer if you've covered the information it asks for in your personal statement? For instance, one application has a section on overcoming obstacles. If I've covered this to an extent in my personal statement, is it okay to check off "This section does not apply..", or is the general consensus that you should fill out as many of the questions as you can even if it may be redundant.
Thanks in advance!

Follow directions. If they want an essay about overcoming obstacles, write one. If this makes your PS redundant, redo your personal statement.
