I am waiting on a professor to write me an LOR, and I have talked to he about it extensively. I want to send in my apps, and the only thing I am waiting on is this LOR. I texted her twice this week about it and she completely ignored me. I dont want to be pushy about it so she doesnt write me a bad LOR, but how can I convey my sense of urgency to her?
Shes completely ignoring me and I NEED this LOR.

Re: LOR never went through
Having the same problem right now with one of my profs. Sent him the info in early Dec/late Nov, said I wanted to apply in early Jan, he goes out of town for the holiday, and just got a message this week saying he would start on it yesterday.
Follow up question, since my apps are ready, can I just add the unprocessed LoR to my file, then submit, and hope like hell it gets in and updated before they review my file, or is that too risky?

Oh, and OP, if you have their telephone number, don't text, call.
Lot easier to ignore a text than a ringing phone. But I would wait til Monday, and maybe start looking for a back up LoR
